June 2, 2019 Rosemary Vaeth
chiveblossomvinegar.jpg

Chive Blossom Vinegar

makes about a cup and a half

  • 2 cups fresh chive blossoms

  • enough white wine vinegar to cover (about 2 cups)

Fill a mason jar with chive blossoms and add white wine vinegar to cover. Cap and leave in a cool, dark spot for two weeks to steep.

Strain and store in the refrigerator indefinitely.

Use for salad dressings, chimichurri or cocktails - there’s no wrong way to eat it.
